This photo was taken on the side of a Chinese chicken rice restaurant in my home town of Batu Pahat, Johor.
Whole chickens roasting under the sun (and car exhaust), sleeping dog, bicycle, school shoes, the sewer, and boarded-up windows all in one frame — would would’ve thought?
